Turkish Super Lig club Besiktas has shown interest in signing Brazilian winger Wesley Gassova Ribeiro Teixeira from Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr, according to Turkish media reports on Thursday.

The 20-year-old attacker, who joined Al Nassr from Corinthians in the summer of 2023 for a reported €18 million ($20.49 million) fee, has made 22 appearances across all competitions this season, registering one goal and three assists in 691 total minutes. Despite high expectations, Gassova has struggled to secure consistent playing time, which reportedly opens the door for a potential move.

Sources suggest that Al Nassr is open to facilitating the youngster's exit, especially if the move aids his development in Europe. Besiktas is reportedly pursuing a loan deal with a buy option and seeks to share part of the player's salary with the Saudi club.

Wesley's current contract with Al Nassr runs until 2028, but his market value has dropped to around €4 million, increasing the feasibility of a temporary move to Türkiye.

The player is also reportedly attracting interest from other European clubs.
