Turkish football giant Fenerbahce has turned their attention to Paris Saint-Germain’s Marco Asensio following the signing of Colombian striker Jhon Duran, sources reported Saturday.

According to Estadio Deportivo, the Istanbul club has entered negotiations with PSG over a potential loan deal for the 29-year-old Spanish midfielder. PSG are reportedly open to the move if Fenerbahce covers part of Asensio’s 14 million euros ($16.5 million) annual salary.

Asensio, who joined PSG from Real Madrid, spent part of last season on loan at Aston Villa, making 13 appearances in the Premier League, scoring three goals and providing one assist.
